Error Using ODBC to Connect to Excel in the Password Builder

The recommended method of connecting to an Excel spreadsheet is to connect to Excel directly, not through ODBC.

If you try to attempt the connection through ODBC, you may encounter an error that says, "The connection to the database has failed. Please verify your database settings and access permissions." The likely cause is a problem with how the Excel ODBC connection is set up on your computer, which is outside the scope of Remark Web Survey. If you see this error, please use the Excel options listed instead of using an ODBC connection.
