Making Classes Inactive (Archiving)

You can make a class inactive if you no longer need the class. Inactive classes are not deleted, but also are not visible throughout the application any longer (e.g. you cannot add students or create tests for inactive classes). Making a class inactive is a good alternative to deleting the class if you think you may need the information in the class at a later date.

  1. Start out on the page of the term that has the class you would like to make inactive.
  2. In “Cards” view, click “Edit” under the class you would like to make inactive.

  3. In “Table” view, click the “pencil” icon that corresponds with the class you would like to make inactive.
  4. Clicking either of these buttons redirects you to the “Edit Class” page.
  5. To make the class inactive, simply uncheck the box that is labeled “Active” and click “Save Class”.
