Check the color format of your image. If the image is in CMYK format, it often cannot be displayed on an HTML (web) form.
This is because RGB (Red, Green, Blue) is colored light. CMYK are pigments (CMYK stands for Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, blacK) intended for print, where color is perceived via reflected light. Since browsers are designed to work with monitors and colored light, there is no implementation to manage the "fourth channel."
As a workaround for this problem, try saving the file using the RGB (Red Green Blue) color format instead.
